Ingredients
- 3 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 2 tablespoons ketchup (optional)
- 1/3 teaspoon of red pepper flakes ,crushed
Method
- Heat oil in a large skillet.
- Cut chicken breasts into bite size pieces
- Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned.
- Remove chicken and add remaining ingredients, heating over medium Heat until well mixed.
- Add chicken and bring to a hard boil.
- Simmer and cook for about 23 minutes.
- Serve over hot rice and sprinkle some sesame over it.
