Ingredients
- 750 grams of boneless chicken breast cut into pieces
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup of fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 lemon peel
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup sliced green onions
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup pineapple juice
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- In a small pan mix together brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, pineapple juice, lemon juice, vinegar and the lemon peel over medium heat to make a lemon sauce , and stir until sugar melt then set aside.
- Mix together salt and pepper with the flour, and dredge the chicken pieces.
- Mix together milk, egg, and vinegar, and take dredged chicken, and dip into the egg, milk, vinegar mixture then dredge in flour again.
- In a medium size pan, heat oil to fry the chicken pieces on each side until they get brown.
- Set on paper towels to catch excess oil.
- Toss the chicken pieces with lemon sauce.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and fresh green onion.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
