Ingredients
- 2 pounds salmon
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- Salt
- Pepper
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Mix together honey, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, ginger, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
- Place salmon onto the prepared baking sheet and fold up all 4 sides of the foil.
- Pour the mixture over the salmon.
- Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon, covering completely and sealing the packet closed.
- Take the salmon to the oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
- Move the salmon to an oven rack close to the broiler and broil on high for an additional 5 minutes, or until caramelized and slightly charred.
- Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
