Ingredients
- 4 thinly sliced, peeled apples
- 1 pastry roll
- 3 eggs
- 50 grams sugar
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons vanilla sugar
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Roll out the paste into a pie pan and prick.
- Place the apple slices on the paste rosette.
- Mix together eggs with sugar, cinnamon and sour cream in a large bowl.
- Pour the mixture over the apples.
- Take to the oven and bake for about 50 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, spray vanilla sugar on top and return to oven for additional 5 minutes to caramelize.
- Transfer the apple tart to a rack to cool for at least 1 hour before serving.
