Ingredients
- 1/2 kilogram of boneless skinless chicken breast cut into small pieces
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 garlic cloves,chopped
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons of chopped ginger
- 20 grams sugar
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 300 grams broccoli
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Mix chicken, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper.
- Spray a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray, then heat over medium high heat.
- Fry the chicken pieces for about 2 minutes or until chicken getting brown.
- Add 3/4 cup of the broth, the soy sauce and sugar.
- Cover and cook over for 5 minutes with stirring.
- Add broccoli, cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch with remaining 1/4 cup broth, stir into chicken mixture.
- Stir frequently, until sauce is thickened.
- Serve with rice if desired.
